I
am 54 years old and was
born in
Biloxy Mississippi.
My mother moved us to Sunnyvale, California
when I was two weeks old I
grew up there never knowing
my bio father with my mom,
two brothers, and my step dad.
I went to Peterson High school and graduated in 1972.
I married a Sailor on December 22nd,1972, and have
been married to him for 32 years now.
I have two daughters, one 30 and one 28, nine granddaughters
Jessica (the oldest)
who is now remarry and live in Alaska.
Mysti (our youngest) lives
about 5 miles from us and is now working Blood Bank. She love working
with computers, her truck,
and talking on
MSM and Yahoo.
Rick is an Electronics Tech Four He works for
Raytheon Service Co. doing installations and up grades
for the FAA. He is into sledding, computers, dogs, pets, snow
fishing, hunting, etc, Okay, enough about them, now about me.
I was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP), which affected my involuntary muscles. These are the ones you have to tell to move,
like walking, talking, writing, etc. My mother took me to the dentist one day,
when I was four and he told her what was wrong with me. She never gave up on me worked with me each and
everyday until I could walk, talk, do all those basic things most people take for granted. Most people I meet,
or talk to on the net, don't know there is problem until I get tired.
Then my control over myself
starts to lax and my speech get slurred, and my hands start to shake. Unfortunately, during the time I grew up, the
State of California school system was more concerned with how I spoke than whether or not I could read, write, or do math. Because of that
My husband does most of my typing, spelling, etc. for me. Since I have been using the net
I am getting better at doing it myself than ever before. Thanks to all my friends on the Net, and computers.
