Fine Halo

I wrote this tutorial on 7/15/2002. I Call this Fine Halo Frame because we will be using Spiky Halo and Fine Leather Effect.

Supplies Needed:
Image of your choice
PSP 7

Cold pattern right click and save to

your PSP Patten folder

1. Open the image you want to use, duplicate it and close the original resize to 250 x 250

2. Go to your Styles and so to Patten and get the Cold Pattern. Add Border of 3 pixels. Next using the magic wand, tolerance 0, feather 0,
Flood fill with the Gold Pattern.

3. Background color white and add Border
of 25 pixels.

****************

4. With the magic wand go to Effect-Geometric Effect-Spiky Halo and use this setting.

Horizontal offset 0

Vertical offset 0

Radius 4

Amplitude 100

Frequency 8

You image should look like this.

5. With the magic wand still in places go to Effect-Textures Effect-Fine Leather and us this setting

Color black

Angle 143

Blur 10

Number of Furrows 139

Length of Furrows 6

Transparency 250

You image should now look like this.

6. With the magic wand still in place go to Selection-Invert Drop Shadow effect with this setting.

Vertical 4

Horizontal 4

Opacity 74

Blur 7.4

Color Black

Add another Drop Shadow effect, same
settings, except Vertical and Horizontal -4.

7. Make your background black and add another Border
of 3 pixels. Flood fill with the Gold Patten and add the some Drop Showed setting and Vertical and Horizontal

8. Go to Selection and Select None Resize your image to 350 x 350

9. Go to Effect-Sharpen More
