Brush's Frame
This tutorial is my own creation, tutorial is copyrighted and written on 4/3/2003. ****************

**************** 1. Open the image you want to use and Resize the image to your liking keep it under 250 duplicate 2 times and close the original. **************** 2. Start
with the first duplicate setting the other two aside...... Colors -Grey
Scale-Colors - Increase Color Depth to 16 million **************** 3. Go to Colors then Colors to your liking. Duplicate that image, you should have three images. The original duplicate and the one you just made. **************** 4. Go to Effects - Sharpen - Sharpen More. **************** 5. Effect Artistic Effect Colored Pencil and us this setting

**************** 6. Take your second image and add Border of 20 pixels Choose a color of your choice. On the color palette you need to have the Foreground set to White and the Background in the color that you pick. Put you Foreground to Gradient like this.
**************** 7. On your second image go to Selections Select all flood fill with the Gradient. Go to Effects ~ Blur ~ Gaussian Blur 50.00 **************** 8. On
the original image, take your Freehand tool and
**************** 9. Selection none, make a new layer and name it border. Using the Selection Tool 'Rectangle'. Rectangle the image you just added. Go to Selection, Invert and flood fill with a darker color. Go back to Selection and Invert back to Selection. Modify Expand 2 back to Selection Invert and cut. **************** 10. Selection 'none' and erase the bottom line of the border. Add a new layer and name it Brush 1. With a Paint Brush' of your choice, size 100 and with a light color. Add the Brush to the top corner of the border. Go to Drop Shallow and use this setting.

Duplicate the Brush
and Mirror image it to the other upper corner.
**************** 11. Add a new layer name it 'Brush 2', you may use the same Brush design, do the same as #10. You will place the brush on the bottom corner half on the image. This is what you should have.
**************** 12. Go to layer Merge all add Border of 20 pixels. Use the Magic Wand on the border. Cut your third image and paste it on to the border. Still with the Magic Wand go to Effect Vm Natural Cross Weave and use this setting. Leave it Selection
**************** 13. Go Selection layer Invert Drop Shadow and use this setting
Vertical 4
Horizontal 4
Opacity 71
Blur 18.8
Color Black
Repeat Drop Shadow and
change the Vertical and Horizontal to -1

Go to Selection Select
none and add a border 3 pixels with the dark color that you have pick.

Freehand
around the image how ever you like. Go to the Selections Modify Feather 50 Copy and paste on to the background you just made. It should look like this.
